Garrett's Birthday

Garrett turned 7 on May 4th but we were in Hanksville so we celebrated his birthday on Monday May 5th so that he could have a "friend" party. He chose to rent a bounce house and have the party at home instead of going somewhere. It is so hard to get them all loaded and taken somewhere, especially if you can't feed them at the place you have taken them. Then you have to hurry home, shove some pizza and cake down their throats, hurry through the presents and then shue them out the door. It is quite an exhausting experience. The "kid" party went well though and we had all the family come over later once the little monsters were all gone. It is so funny to have other kids over... you find out the most interesting things about their families. Kids just love to blab all the juicy details. God, I hope my kids don't do that!! No wonder why I prefer that their friends come over to our house rather then mine go to theirs.
Garrett got all the things he had asked for and is already talking about what he wants next year!! The way time flies though.... it will be here before I know it!
