Retraction.....

Unfortunately I have to print a retraction on my comment yesterday about being able to "weasel" my way out of speeding tickets. That was not the case this evening on my way to Braxton's baseball game. I got pulled over going 9 miles over the speed limit by some cocky little man who looked like he just graduated high school.
I told him that I was in a hurry because we had to be there at 5:30. It was 5:25 when he pulled me over. He was even kind enough to point out that I still had PLENTY of time to get to the ball field without speeding. So what does he do but make me sit and wait on him while he twiddles his thumbs in his car for 20 mins, probably just to prove a point and make me really late!!!
Then he had the gall to THANK me as he handed me my ticket and then stood there apparently waiting for me to "THANK" him in return. (Like that was going to happen.)
I just looked at him and rolled up my window. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!!
