A few weeks ago Dennis, Cody, Rosanne and I went on a Harley ride called a "Poker Run" that benefited a little girl with a terminally ill disease. Sign ups started at 10:30 am at the Barbary Coast bar in Salt Lake. This is where we got our t-shirts and got to get our first "card" for our hand. The way we determined what our cards were was to throw darts at a board covered in playing cards. Which ever card we hit would be the first card dealt to us. Then we all rode to Scorez in Lehi and hung out for a while and got our second card. Then we went to Wing Nuts in South Jordan and did the same. (Which by the way has very good hot wings. We had never been there before.) Our last stop was The Ore House in Copperton. There were so many bikers there, it was crazy. They are all so nice though and really have big hearts and do alot of charity work. Can you believe I was the big winner and got 5 JACKS!! No matter where I threw, it landed on a jack. I won a $100 but just donated it back to the cause. They had a big raffle and made quite a bit of money for the girl. It was such a good time and what a great feeling to know that we had that much fun and for a good cause. I can't wait to do it again next year.
