Busy Weekend

On Friday all the Lierd family came into town because we had a bridal shower for Chevaun on Saturday. We met at Tepanyaki (our favorite place) for dinner on Friday night then came back to our house to hang out. Cody & Rosanne came over too and against our better judgement we stayed up until 3am talking. (Blame it on the Bud Light). Stupid really because we all had to get up and get moving early the next day. Chevaun, her sister and her niece still had to do some dress shopping for the wedding and I had some things to do around the house since the shower was being held there. Little Macie Moo stayed with me so that the girls could shop faster. Lucky me, she is such a hoot. The shower went well and Chevaun got a lot of really nice stuff. So much that she couldn't fit it all in her car and Dennis will have to haul the rest back to Bridgeland for her when he goes back to work on Monday. We were all dragging by Saturday afternoon but finally mustered enough strength to go out to dinner. We ordered the kids some pizza and Caleb, Sara, Dennis and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I love the food there but it wasn't going to be our first choice. Do you know they closed Black Angus?? I can't imagine why. That was our favorite place to eat and we could always get right in without much wait. What a bummer... We turned in that night by midnight and we were all thankful to hit the sheets. I was so tired. Today we took the kids to see "Horton hears a Who" and since then we have just been lounging around the house which has been nice. I wish I had a little more energy though. It was such a nice day that I could have done some work in the yard. Maybe some other time, a nap and some Lifetime TV sounded much more appealing!!! And to top that off..... my show Desperate Houewives starts again tonight. What a life I have!!
